Unquote and unescape a single or double quoted string - the reverse of q() or dq(). Automatically determines the quote type by looking at the first character.

i as String

The string value to unquote

Call Template:

s = xf.Gen.Unquote(i)

Example 1:

Unquote("'O''Halloran'")   => O'Halloran
