License Activation

For some products, Arrow of Time asks you to activate your license using the serial number issued after checkout. During activation, information is sent over a secure internet connection to Arrow of Time to identify your product. This includes your serial number and registration name and email address.

Arrow of Time makes every effort to ensure that information is protected both during storage and when accessed through a web browser. All account and login pages use a secure connection to ensure privacy and security.

If you choose to provide us with your Personal Information, we may transfer such information, within Arrow of Time or to Arrow of Time's third party service providers, across borders and from your country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world, subject to the limitations of this Privacy Policy.

If you are a registered user of any Arrow of Time website, access to your account may be controlled by a username and password chosen by you. Arrow of Time has a strong interest in providing complete customer satisfaction. Naturally, we want our customers to purchase product that exactly suits their needs.
However, we also have an automated order and delivery system which provides a serial number instantly after purchase and we must protect our interests in ensuring that these serial numbers are not used if a refund takes place.

We do not automatically offer refunds, but we will consider requests for refunds on a case by case basis.

We strongly encourage prospective clients to completely evaluate our product before purchase.
To this end, we provide

• a fully functional evaluation version of our software (useable on 20 unique days that need not be consecutive)
• technical support for evaluation
• a suite of support materials such as documentation, tutorials and forums

We will not give refunds for:

• services provided where such services have already been completed
• support renewals

Where are refund is requested, we may consider a refund where:

• a serial number has been issued, but no software has been activated with that serial number (the serial number will be rendered unuseable prior to a refund being issued)
• if we have not started or partially completed a service, we may refund the part of the payment corresponding to the uncompleted part, less an administration fee equivalent to one hour of the service
• software has been purchased fraudulently, for example with a stolen credit card

We reserve the right to approve or refuse a refund, in whole or in part, purely at our own discretion, on our evaluation of the merits of the case, without needing to providing evidence or reasoning to the customer.
